Thank you for your entry to this year’s Birmingham Regatta. Regrettably we have decided to cancel this year’s regatta because we only received about 70 entries which are as detailed below.

From Bewdley RC, Birmingham RC, Birmingham University BC, City of Oxford RC, Clifton College BC, Huntingdon BC, Lancaster University BC, Lea RC, Marlow RC, Molesey Schools RA, North Staffs RC, Pembroke BC, Pengwern BC, Reading RC, Staffordshire University BC, Royal Shrewsbury School BC, and Stourport BC.

Whilst it would have been possible to run a successful regatta with this number of entries, we decided it would be unfair for those of you who are coming large distances to have just a straight final. We are particularly sorry that the younger juniors will not get a race as we are one of the few regattas who cater for scullers down to J10. Next year we will be back on our traditional date of Saturday 24^th April (which is 2 weeks after Easter) and look forward to welcoming you next year.
